On Friday, Oct. 24, we'll have yard and shop tour, and a night photo shoot. On Saturday, October 25, 2008 we'll pull out all the stops and try to top the fantastic trip of 2007.
We plan to triple-head to Cumbres Pass. taking a 25-30 car freight up Cumbres Pass..
We'll then head for Osier, Colorado,, where we'll have lunch, turn around and go back to Cumbres.
The train will be split into two sectioms for the trip down to Chama. In case of "bad" weather, we'll do something equally interesting. Of course we will have many runby and photo-ops along the way.
"ALL FREIGHT. ALL STEAM, ALL RIO GRANDE"
This trip will also feature a "Chase Bus" for those who would like to chase the train to Cumbres.
Riders will have one open gon, A caboose,
a concession car, , and two rider boxes.
There will be heat, seating, hot and cold drinks, and restrooms in the enclosed cars.
